In dicussing the overall topic of ostio arthritis it is important to note that our bones is made up of a lot of joints, Knee joints, Hip joints & more. The joints in your fingers and the joints in our toes. Wherever bones come together, there is also cartilage which is a rubbery protective coating that ensures your joints bend smoothly and without pain. But even cartilage can do this tremendous job alone, a slender membrane called the “synovium” supplies fluid that makes slippery the moving parts of the joint. When the cartilage becomes exhausted the synovium gets inflamed, the effect is in most cases a case of “osteoarthritis” or “rheumatoid arthritis”. With osteoarthritis, the cartilage can be worn down so much that bone ends up rubbing on bone. These types of arthritis actualize gradually over a lifetime as a simple development of the wear and tear placed on your joints over the years. Very few human beings are free from some degree of osteoarthritis, though the level of pain varies a great deal.

Continuing the discussion of gout – It is said that, if you are fifty plus, you are likely to have at least one joint affected by osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis affects men and women to the same degree and is by far the most common type of arthritis, with almost 16 million Americans being affected. With rheumatoid arthritis, damage to the synovium is seen to be the source of trouble. Doctors are not completely sure of the root cauase, but many think that rheumatoid arthritis is a disease in which the immune system is seen to attack certain tissues in the body, including those that meet the joints and the synovium. Rheumatoid arthritis commences with swollen, red, stiff, and painful joints, but it may progress until scar tissue forms in the joint or, in extreme cases, until the bones actually fuse together. Almost 75% of the 2 million people with rheumatoid arthritis in the United States are female. The condition can commence as early as the teen years.

Investing a little energy in developing a good weight-bearing exercise plan can add up to great developments when it comes to staving off arthritis discomfort. Strong muscles assist to protect the joints from wear and tear, and the movement keeps joints flexible. This is the reason that the drive for fitness is at hand, even if you are over half a century in age. However, most Americans 50 years and over are still right where they always were sitting back and watching others jog by. Most of them contend that that is just for individuals who have been athletic all their life, or some say exercise is for young individuals and engaging in exercise will do them more harm than good. When dealing with inflammatory arthritis there are still some that insist on excusing their selves in exercise routines because they do not just have time or they have less energy than ever before. These are all lame excuses. Hence, it is time to start to get rid of those pains. Start exercising. Consequently, preventing arthritis is not an exact science, but physicians have discovered a few ways to lower your risk.

Is there a cure for this knee pain?

Living with knee pain, is an experience every person with bad knees knows, and would not want to wish on another.

The constant nagging ache, that is there while standing at the sink to brush your teeth in the morning, and continues to be there during every other task that follows, as the day unfolds, that makes you want to stop and not carry on.

At the least, it can be troublesome and annoying and at the most it can keep you motionless, not allowing you to do the things you love, whether it be strolling down the sidewalk with the dog on the leash, or running in the park with your loving little grand children.

It reduces life to moving from one moment of taking the prescription pain killer to the moment when the next dose can be taken, hoping that the relief would be better this time around, but it never is.

You grit your teethe and contemplate taking the plunge and having the knee surgery every one talks about, but have the doubts, because you have no guarantee that it would work. Gosh! Is there a cure for this knee pain? Will there be a cure for this knee pain?

An honest answer to that question, NO!

I mean Yes, there is No miraculous overnight cure for knee pain, but there are a lot of things we can do to make life with knee pain worth living. If we cannot eliminate the knee pain, we can reduce it.

The magic word is REDUCE.

Succeed at reducing the pain a wee bit, and then succeed at reducing it a little bit more, and a little bit more, to a level where it is bearable and not even noticeable anymore, and you can start smiling again.

You may not be able to cure the knee pain but you can reduce it. All it takes is a little bit of effort doing the things that will work.

Knee pain is joint pain, so for starters let us look after the joint.

Glucosamine is a supplement that caters to joint health. Systemic enzymes are supplements that reduce the inflammation in the joints.

Let us forget about pain killers  and start treating the rusty old knee joint with any of the supplements that use fatty acids that help repair torn, worn out and damaged cartilage.
